Light Industrial Ecosystem

Garner Arts Center, Garnerville, NY, May 30-31 2015

Light Industrial Ecosystem is an expansive, site-specific exhibition featuring the work of fourteen artists using body and material to interact with space and history within the 19th century textile mill in Garnerville, NY.

Artists will respond to the architecture, light, and sense of place with immersive, interactive, materially-diverse installations and performances which engage audience and environment.

Featuring work by David Alban, Kristi Arnold, Claire Breidenbach, Margaret Coleman, Liz Ensz, Laura Gordon, Joan Harmon, Aimee Hertog, James Lentz, Susan Luss, Sarah Magida, Jennifer McCandless, Aubrey Roemer, and Melissa Sclafani.

GARNER Arts Festival“The Lower Hudson Valley’s Premier Arts Festival,” features  open artist studios, demonstrations, exhibitions, live music, film, dance, food and drink!

James Lentz, ASM's Traveling Foundry Coordinator, will be leading hands-on aluminum casting workshops throughout the festival. Festival-goers are invited to create their own recycled aluminum relief tile!
